THE ROLE

We are looking for a clever, results-oriented Digital Strategist/Team Lead to join our team. You will plan and execute multi-platform digital strategies for our clients, manage an innovative digital team, and implement profitable initiatives to grow and diversify our digital offerings. We are looking for someone with strong digital marketing credentials who can operate with ease at the intersection of data, technology, and creative domains. You will also be responsible for leveraging and expanding on opportunities to identify new services with current clients, as well as developing proposals for new clients. Ultimately, you will provide a strategic vision for the team and oversee its portfolio of clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Maintain strategic oversight for a portfolio of paid digital marketing clients and ensure programs are optimized and delivering strong results 

  • Manage multi-platform digital media campaigns with a primary focus on paid social, paid search, and programmatic

  • Serve as a key strategic advisor and digital expert for our clients

  • Collaborate with cross-team marketing strategists in translating their client’s brand strategy and goals into a digital marketing plan

  • Create and implement cutting-edge digital customer engagement and content strategies

  • Develop playbooks and processes for client onboarding, digital strategy creation, and optimization of campaigns 

  • Oversee digital marketing budgets to ensure that clients are spending in the best ways to achieve ROI

  • Advise on best practices for creative assets and digital copywriting to meet campaign goals

  • Evaluate digital performance, including lead and ROI tracking, and draw insight from performance data that informs strategy

  • Proficient in email automation tools ( Klaviyo) and strategies to create, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns for maximum engagement and conversion

  • Proficient in Meta and Google ads

  • Participate in business development initiatives, including meeting with prospects and client renewals

  • Manage team budget, including profit and loss analysis, revenue goals, and salary decisions

  • Support a high level of internal knowledge and awareness of digital strategies through continuous trend research, training, and innovation initiatives

  • Motivate and mentor team members to assist in their continued professional development

WHO YOU ARE: 

  • Experience with multi-platform strategies and planning, and managing a team

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically

  • Confident in rationalizing your ideas and decisions

  • Motivated, flexible, and open with excellent communication skills

  • Creative in executing new ideas

  • Detail-oriented with systematic and structured logical thinking

  • Good blend of pragmatism and creativity

  • Experience with data analytics platforms, and launching paid social media initiatives on Meta and other emerging social media platforms

  • Experience with Google ads spanning paid search, display and YouTube pre-roll

  • Experience with managing and training digital marketers

  • SEO strategy and optimization, are a plus
