All the Wine + Food

Work

It’s that time of year again. The most delicious time of year. When the who’s who of the F&B world head to Charleston, SC for Charleston Wine + Food. Five days of eating, drinking, learning, meeting new friends, running into old friends and most importantly, celebrating Charleston’s kick-ass culinary scene.

It all starts today and our team will be in the thick of it with our F&B friends. If you’re in Charleston, or just drooling at the Instagram posts from afar, be sure to check out the happenings on the ‘gram #CHSWFF.

Shout outs to:

Our friends over at Mex 1 will be pulling double duty on Thursday. First they’ll be droppin’ some knowledge and pouring rare tequilas at the Extra Anejo event and then they’ll end the day mixin’ it up at the Hipster Cocktail Party.

Get your wellness on (so that you can go eat and drink all the things) by sippin’ on Dalai Sofia kombucha during Feed Your [body] on Thursday and Feed Your [intention] on Friday.

The Culinary Village is a hub of activity and tastings Friday through Sunday. Grab a bold & spicy Bloody Mary from Charleston Mix and eat your way through the village. Minneapolis’ Butcher & the Boar, who will be opening a second location in the Charleston area this year, will be holding it down at a couple of the village’s snack shacks. Catch them on Saturday from Noon-1:15pm at Shake Your Tail Feathers and on Sunday from 3:30-5:00pm at Hot Diggity. While walking around the Culinary Village you can’t miss the Bottles Wine Retail Shop. They’ll have regularly scheduled free tastings from winemakers around the world, and guests can purchase many of the wines they try during the festival weekend at the tent. If wine isn’t your jam, head over to the Bay Street Biergarten Beer Garden. Like a true beer tasting aficionado, don a pretzel necklace as you taste all the beers. We hear there is going to be a bear in lederhosen walking around. A BEAR. In LEDERHOSEN! What more can you ask for?

To close out the weekend, Charleston’s beloved Hamby Catering, will be dishing out the goodness at Sunday’s Gospel Brunch.
