We are hiring a Business Operations Manager!

Just normal, nice people with a drive to do better for ourselves, each other, and the world.We have an office in the center of downtown Charleston, SC and though the position is local to this area, much of the work week can be remote working.

Position: Office Management

  • Ensure that office is organized and operating smoothly

  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary

  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing shipments

  • Check mail and deposit checks

  • Arrange necessary repairs or maintenance and coordinating with vendors

  • Ensure cleanliness of the office - coordinate with cleaning crew and ensure cleanliness of the kitchen

  • Prepare the office for emergency weather events such as hurricanes

  • Provide general support to office visitors and clients including placing catering orders


  • Oversee compost and recycling program for the office and off-site events

  • Work with team on launching new sustainability efforts


  • Assist in planning company events such as art shows, block parties and holiday celebrations

  • Assist in planning off-site events such as company retreat and participation in community events

  • Book venues, caterers and other vendors for events

  • Manage team volunteers to help with other events

Team Support

  • Work with IT specialists and internet providers to resolve technical problems

  • Coordinate and book travel for team members and optimize travel programs

  • Support the Founder and executive team members to draft presentations

  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments for the Founder

  • Participate in creating and altering office policies and procedure for improved workflow

  • Collaborate with HR, finance and marketing teams on paperwork and processes

  • Complete special projects

Onboarding New Hires

  • Order computers and supplies for new team members, upgrade laptops and update database of computers

  • Assist in the on-boarding process for new hires


  • A professional with at least 2-4 years of experience

  • Have experience working in an professional office environment

  • Consider yourself extremely detail oriented and highly organized

  • Strong time-management and planning skills; adaptable and flexible

  • Excellent communicator who is comfortable taking direction from senior team members

  • Genuine, positive, and uplifting attitude that inspires co-workers and clients

  • Self-starter who is internally driven to make things better and to exceed expectations

  • A natural leader who is comfortable with a high degree of ownership and accountability

  • Passion to grow with Obviouslee in the role of Operations Manager

  • Love coming to work on a daily basis

  • Tech Savvy


  • Salary range of $45,000-$55,000
